Has anyone had any luck getting a Care Credit CLI recon?
My dog has been very ill the last week so with hospital stays and emergency procedures, my Care Credit limit is already a third exhausted. I've now taken her to a specialist, where she's undergoing more tests and more hospitalition (at an expensive facility) and they've quoted me some high amounts. My TU just jumped back up to over 700 and my utilization is still under %5 so I figured maybe they'd give me at least a partial increase of the number I was asking for. The vet tried to get my Care credit increased but were told it was pending and for me to call in. I called and was flat out denied. Reason will be sent to me in a week or so, they said.
I looked here and saw a Synchrony backdoor number to credit solutions and tried to recon. Was told that they don't handle Care Credit at that number and to call this other number. Unfortunately, the number they gave me was the one I called earlier in the day when I was denied by a regular CSR.
Anyone know if there's another way to recon? I don't want to near-max out multiple cards now that my credit is doing so well, unless I have no choice. No matter what, my great utilization is going to take a dump for the next month or two but I'd rather affect as few cartds as possible.
Thanks.
P.S. I plan to pay down a decent amount of all cards I'll be using by the end of this month. Maybe not half, but close to it.
There is no recon on a computer denial with Synchrony.
I agree with @Gdale. You cannot recon with Synchrony.
I can't help with your question but I hope your puppy gets well soon....one of my worst fears cause I know I would spend what I had to for my pets regardless of outcome...the one part of me that is completely illogical and undisciplined.

Good for you.. They deserve it as they are loyal than human beings.
Thank you all for responding.

Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately, my little girl didn't make it. I tried so hard and run up several cards having specialists try to save her but we had exhausted all options. I've trashed my utilization but I don't even care. I just wish I could have saved her. She was the biggest reason I finally stepped up and began rebuilding my credit last year. My main goal from the start was to get CareCredit to finance her eye surgery to fix her blindness.

So sorry for your loss....I lost my sweet girl earlier in the year and spent a literal fortune on her treatment to extend her health and life and I do not regret spending a single penny. Our furry babies are family members. I totally understand...
