I started off with CareCredit in 2009 with 1000.00 limit, which was actually amazing bc my scores were low 600's and filled with collections bk from 05, and a judgment.
Since coming to this forum I found out about CLI's (And cleaned up my credit).
Last got a CLI from Carecredit in December and am up to 2000.00 (That was a HP).
My current EQ score is 685 so I called tonight and over the automated system asked for a 3500 dollar increase, which I got!! But had to suffer a hard pull to get it. Realizing my stupidity, I stayed online and talked to a rep, and told her I actually needed 7500.00 as a total limit, and I got it. This game of requesting amounts is very difficult - you don't want to go too high, but regret it if you go too low.
I was told, however, that CareCredit is only doing CLI's every six months now, which is why they were so eagerly helpful to give me the "needed" 7500 now.
Another factoid totally unrelated - I was talking to my credit union lady this week (NOT GETTING ANY LOANS) and she said their system puts anyone 680-740 in the same bracket. So I'm guessing with my luxurious 685 that I'm as good as a 740 in CareCredit's eyes, too!!
This is quite a CLI and I'm very happy. Maybe my lousy 800 dollar Walmart will follow suit?

Congratulations. I want a Carecredit CLI too but I'm not quite ready for the HP yet. Too many inquires on EQ. Maybe next year ![]()
