1. Can someone tell me if you take Cash Advance from CC, does it show up on Credit report? If so, does it show up right away or few days or a month later?
2. Also, if you take cash over from discover more CC also. If so, does it show up right away or few days or a month later?
I'm pretty sure the only thing that shows on your credit report is your balance. There's no special indication as to whether the balance is a cash advance balance or a purchases balance. I've never seen anything like that.
Cash advances don't show up on your credit report, but the increased balance on your credit card will show up if you don't pay it off before the statement comes out.
And Discover cash over isn't considered a cash advance, its treated like a regular purchase.
Okay thanks for your quick responses.
I was also wondering that if you take out Cash advances does it show up and get updated on credit report quicker than just a regular purchase?

when i had one with CU they updated cash advance transaction balance off cycle even though balance was PIF before statement date (the advance was in the form of an overdraft)
