Cash Back credit card charts

Please do not post in this thread.  If the thread is open to posts, its because I'm working on it.

All of the cash back excel spreadsheet images are calculated without consideration for sign up bonuses, if any. Sign up bonuses change frequently, and selecting cards based on sign up bonuses is not the purpose of these calculations.

If there are mistakes or omissions, please send me a private message.

Past/Future AAoA calculator, written in Excel

Here is a link to an AAoA calculator Excel spreadsheet I created:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5Sv0qIpc3ULXzJUU3BNaXllcVk/view?usp=sharing

I'm hosting the file on Google Docs, but it is written in Excel, so download the file after clicking on that link.

Currently it contains sample data from some of my cards.

Open Date is the date the card/loan was opened. You can enter future cards/loans that you have not actually obtained yet.

Todays Date column is whatever date you want to calculate the AAoA for, just edit the first date as all the others auto fill from that one.

Drop Date is the date the credit card/line will drop off of your credit reports. Leave it blank if the card is staying open indefinitely. Positive trade lines usually drop off 10 years after being closed, and Negative trade lines drop in 7 years. So, you may have to estimate this date.

So, you can have credit lines that will fall off your credit reports on a certain estimated date, and you can have new cards that will be opened at a future date, if you want. This also means that you can set Today's Date to be sometime in the past, and cards that haven't been opened yet will be ignored in the AAoA calculation. Once your cards data is in the spreadsheet, just change Today's Date to calculate a new AAoA.

Just don't set Today's Date to a time before you had any credit at all...
