. Amex is absolutely income biased! I think you will find because of your higher then preferred utility, the APR on your delta card will probably be high. No problem though- they are good about APR reduction with good credit behavior! Nice thing is, you'll get your EX FICO in the mail soon.

For most, I think the best strategy is to start out with the Zync to build a histor with Amex and gain bonus points along the way.
Bank the points, and after a year, apply for the no annual fee PRG with a sign up bonus. Then, 50K + Zync points all become full MR. This is how I'd do it.

i didnt know that the zync rewards points could be transferred to a higher charge card account as the legitiment amex membership rewards points. makes me wonder which card i should use for the bigger purchases. also they pulled my TU which i was also shocked when i founf out because mos of the pulls that ive read from members here have come from EX.

Charge Card pulls are almost Exclusively EX....pulls for one of the revolvers can come from any bureau.
