Re: Changes to Barclays Apple Card!

I've had the card for two years and I've not carry a balance since February of this year.  I keep getting the same response. NO!

Re: Changes to Barclays Apple Card!

I just signed up for this. I'll be transferring the balance over from my US Airways card to this card too and canceling the US Airways card. Now that I've moved I never fly that airline anymore and the CL was small anyway. Barclaycard approved me for $2000. The Apple Watch should net me my first $25 gift card. Nice!

oh great, they put chips on apple card, but not arrival? hmph

but about the card, it looks niiiiiiiiice, and you get apple gifts card? I think they changed the card because so many people pc their apple card to something else later Smiley LOL

Yeah I think it's strange that they put the chips on Apple card and not others. The Ring card is about to get a design change and they aren't added the chip to it immediately which doesn't make sense considering they'll have to by next year anyway. Waste of money if you ask me.

They don't have to add a chip to the card, they just don't get the security benefits if they don't.

Re: Changes to Barclays Apple Card!

I just called to upgrade my card. Very easy process! Not only did they upgrade my card, I also qualified for a lower APR (18.9%) and a $2k CLI. The benefits seem to be pretty good. I think this will be my main card now.

Re: Changes to Barclays Apple Card!

I'm just wondering why I couldn't PC my US Airways card to the Apple card seeing as they're both reward cards. I'm a little annoyed about that and having to take the HP of a new card but...ehh.

Re: Changes to Barclays Apple Card!

I just called and wasn't able to upgrade my card to the rewards version. They put me on hold for about a minute and said my account wasn't eligible. I said well I guess I'll stop using this card and she told me to call back in a few weeks and try again.

Re: Changes to Barclays Apple Card!

Like others I was not able to PC to the new Apple Rewards card- they told my I had to apply for it and then could transfer my CL to the new card - I asked if there was a req to PC and she did not know.  I don't use this card so maybe that is the reason - oh well

Re: Changes to Barclays Apple Card!

I've had the card since May or June 2013, started at $1000, 6 months to $3000, 12 months to $5000 - so far the answer is NO. Current balance $00, always PIF.
