No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
You also have the option of deciding between a $25 Apple gift card or $25 iTunes gift card each time you reach your rewards requirement.
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!
I was going to start favoring this card but the more I've thought about it, I think I'll do better using my regular rewards card from them -
2X cash back rewards on gas, groceries and utilities
1X cash back rewards on all other purchases
That way I can use the rewards anywhere. Plus, the 3x rewards only come from making a purchase at the Apple store and they can only be used at the Apple store. Apple doesn't have to many sales so we can find the products cheaper at other stores sometimes. Then use the greater rewards from the other card for more of a savings.
I think I'm going to swap my credit lines so my other Barclay card has the higher limit.
Has anyone had trouble with the Barclays website after requesting this upgrade?

Your account page is being updated, I suppose. After I asked for an upgrade, I couldn't see my account information for a day or so. When I was finally able to, there were changes reflecting the new card design and the rewards structure.
Edit: The iPhone app was still functional, though.

Just wanted to add in my success...
Called the number on the back of the card, like some others have said to do...
Talked to a CSR about wanting to move the card to the new rewards program. She said she has an account specialist that would love to talk to me about this, transferred -- instant pick up by someone that already had my information in front of her.
I told her I would like to move to the rewards program, she said no problem, read the new terms/disclosure, asked me to accept, THEN she stated she could give me a CLI with a soft-pull. I accepted. Only a $700 increase, but better than nothing.
Thanks for posting this information. Can't wait to get the new card with EMV.
