I've read through the threads some more.  I've never used more than 1500k on my cards. If that gets me shut down, I don't need them.  I've been careful to spread my spending around.  I feel safe, for now.

I assume this is $1,500!   $1.5M might get some notice.

Re: Changes to Citi Thank You Program

I have forward, typ x5, premier and aa plat select.   I spent $10K in April on VR on the x5 card, but once the pace of closing increased, I have stopped manufactured spending (maybe too late, or maybe not!)  So I cashed out about $700 of gift cards, I had been planning to use the points for travel using the premier  but didn't want to take the risk of waiting.

Re: Changes to Citi Thank You Program

How are folks doing with this? I'm still running both of my Citi cards.  I wonder if I will get the double points on dining with the Citi TYP even though I have the 5x promo for a few more months.

Shutdowns seems to have stopped for some reason, which doesn't mean they can't start again.  Today I was able to redeem all my remaining TYP for travel (using the soon to go 1.33 Premier multiplier) so I feel a little less exposed, but of course would rather keep my cards open.

But AFAIK, you will get 2x points on dining, this is a new feature of the card, in addition to any other special promotions that you have.
