It seems like the signup offer for the citi premier and prestige cards will be changing next Thursday 1/28. No telling what the new offer may be, but it seems like they would lower it fromt he current 50k signup.
So are you telling me I should go sign up for that Premiere card?

If you had planned on getting the card soon then you should move on it now while the current offer is still valid. If you are not interested in the current offer or card then this won't change anything.

Yea I was just joking around, I don't need another AF card right now unless I stack up some more BBR cards to cover them.
Thanks.

two days ago the Marriott Premier was showing 70,000 points after $3k spent in 3 months, one free 1-5 category stay per year & 7,500 extra points after adding AU.
When I signed up 2 months ago it was 50k bonus, 1-4 Cat & 5k bonus after adding AU.
I hope they improve the Prestige card as well
I'm hoping for a great Ritz offer. Not sure when it might come around though.
I wouldn't be surprised if they went the other direction and offered better sign up bonuses. There are some very good no AF cards out there...especially from citi themselves.

I think that would be unlikely as the current offer is higher than what the previous norm was. Those citi cards are pretty solid products. Anything is possible, but a card like the prestige isn't in comeptition with a non-AF card. If a different lender came out with a strong offering to challenge the prestige then that might trigger something positive.

RIght. And I am always surprised at the high bonus of the CSP (although the recently increased the spend) since it seems already very popular (but maybe that's just in cc forums!)
