Chase 5/24 and 2 apps in 30 days

as a potential data point for you,

I applied last weekend for the Ritz and business Marriott back to back, and they denied the Marriott for "too many recent requests for credit with us" even though the Ritz was insta-approved for 15.6k and those two are the only apps in the past 30+ days.

Thanks. I'm on on the fence here. I want the CSP but don't want to waste the HP's because of potential 5/24 or "too many" recent apps. Maybe I should just wait until later this year when I'm definitely under 5/24 and try then?
