Ahhh, I wanted this card too.
I tried to recon once today, no go. Analyst didn't sound to friendly or helpful, either. The reason was "too many inquiries" in the past year. I have 7 in the past twelve months. Current utilization is about 40%. One 30 day late from 7 months ago. That's the story.
Do I try again with another analyst? Or do they keep notes if I keep calling?
Thanks,
UM

Hi, Uncle Money!
Sorry about the decline. IMO, give it a rest for awhile. You had a pretty good run this year, and by next summer you'll have some history on those accounts to help with approvals on future apps.
Later!

+1......patience is the hardest part
Make a written list of the cards you want, and then put dates beside them when you will app. Have a reason for those dates....will inquiries have fallen off by then? Utilization lowered?
Make it a plan that YOU control.

Sorry, UM.
The Chase CSR's and credit analysts can be pretty unfirendly/unhelpful. It doesn't get any better once you have a card, either!
