I've been using Chase Freedom a lot. They auto CLId me to 5000. Will they now upgrade to Visa Signature? Does Chase Visa Signature report a CL? Will they auto upgrade or will I have to request?
I got my Freedom years ago. At some point they replaced it with a Visa Sig, without me asking, but they were mass upgrading a lot of people at the time and everyone was freaking out about the CL disappearing. Mine reports the limit on all three CR's.
I don't know if they do it automatically, but they did for me. If you want it, just call...they don't bite.

I was initially approved for the freedom with a $5k limit. I don't think mine is a visa signature, is there a way to make it a signature card?

I switched my BOA Visa Signature back to Platinum Cash Rewards last year so i could have that extra cushion of utilization with no problem. I didn't need the extra util, but i knew i was having a large home improvement project this summer, and i would use some credit at 0%. I wanted that line to report. My Chase is at 7.5k and is not a signature either. I don't really care about the conceirge service associated with Signature cards or the NPSL. Hopefully, they will leave mine alone. I like the BOA cards' appearance better than the signature one anyway.
