Just wanted to let everyone know that Chase gave me an auto-CLI from $12,500 to $15,000. I honestly didn't know until I logged in today and saw it. It should be noted that my highest other CL is $15,000 with Alliant, so chase may be matching theirs. This is the 4th auto-cli in my 6 years of having the card (started at $6,000).
Now just gotta decide if I wanna request the increase from Amex. Button has been back for over a month... at $12,500 currently. Any suggestions on what I should request?
Make it a cool $20,000
Got scared... did $18,000, instantly approved. Yay.
What chase credit card do you have?
With Chase, how often will they give you an Auto CLI?
Ray
Freedom. Has never been a pattern on the CLI..usually 12-18 months apart. All CLIs requested by the consumer are hard pulls by chase; auto CLIs are not.
Well that is super awesome then cdtotten.
What is your utilization percentage to you let post on your Freedom card?

Did you use some kind of automated system or did you talk to a rep?
For AMEX - I always use the online automated system. Prompts me every 6 months when eligible. Never a hard pull - just ask how much you want and your income. My balance when requesting a CLI has always been <10%, usually $0.00.
As for CHASE - I actually have carried large balances with them for long periods in the past. At one point, after a consolidation, I had $8,000 out of $9,500. Over time that got paid off. Currently, I have a $2,200 balance. They have always given me my increases while carrying a balance suprisingly.
Overall util was 10% (now 9% because of the changes). EQ FICO as of today is 740.
Congrats on both the Chase and Amex! Your cards have grown very well for you, nice job.
