Just started banking with Chase (got the Amazon Chase and Freedom cards as well as opened a Chase checking account). For the last couple of days Ive been trying to access their website at www.chase.com and it always seems to be down or very unresponsive. Anyone else have problems with this?
Just checked, I wass able to get it. Maybe it could be maintenance here and there.
Nope. Still down for me. Even my app on my phone will not connect.
I posted last weekt hat i was having problems with the Chase site... and others were able to get in. So i cleared my cookies and temp files and I was good to go. Might help?

Today I can't even load a page from there site.
Tried there app (android) and said its temorarily disabled.

Iran has been DDOSing them and other big banks for the last few days.
The site has been moving kinda slow for me too.

With modern DDOS protection and computer that are more powerful than ever, it would be pretty impossible to shut down a site thats properly set up.
But is there any known motive?
^yes. Chase sent an email around a few ago saying to expect delays b/c they were planning to redesign the site.

"Because they can" would be the best motive I can think of. Chase, Bank of America, and several others have been hit over the last few days. Some hacker groups are claiming responsibility, but Iran is denying any involvement.
