Im not sure if this is the right forum, it is about a card. So got my chase card today and reading the pamhplet and it says i have purchase protection along with theft protection of products i buy. I was wondering how do i utilize this? Like it says if the store wont take it back i can still be reimbursed by chase, isnt that a transacation dispute that the lender could fight? I mean does that basically mean since the store wont take it back i dispute it and keep the item? That just sounds wrong and immoral to me, hopefully someone can elaborate.
It's if the store does something wrong and you get reimbursed right away to your credit card. If the merchant is right the charge goes back on your card. Theft protection is insurance and has nothing to do with the store.
