Re: Chase CLI?

iMO, the best way is to call into the executive office...sometimes they will even do a soft pull. My Chase Freedom went from $2.5K to $12.5K last year via a soft pull through the exec office. YMMV though....

Have they been SP'ing you?

Who is they?

If you mean new cards, no.

If you mean Chase, no well. They did a original HP when I got the card and nothing since.

I think I would wait until it hits the yearmark. It will more than likely be a HP.

Figured as much that it would be a HP. I'll let it hit a year and then try it. That way my other cards will be reporting as well.

Re: Chase CLI?

As suggested from time to time, why not apply for one of the "signature" cards (CSP, CS, Marriot) which almost guarantees a minimum of a 5k limit...get the bonus...use bonus...close card a few months down the road and move the limit to the card you wanted the CLI on? You're taking a HP either way, but the benefits of doing it this way outwheigh a CLI request.

Never thought of that. How easy is it to transfer the limit to another card with Chase?
