I just got my card and they have a request a cli on the website. Should I try it or wait?

Chase is usually a hard pull so take care

And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

6 months is typically when they will give CLI. I waited for 9 months before I asked and approved for CLI.

Re: Chase CLI

I applied a month after getting my freedom card and increased my CL from 4000 to 8000. I also have a 750+ credit score though.

Re: Chase CLI

I just did the online after being a cardholder for 3 years with no auto-CLI. 5K-> 15K.

Guess that was worth the hard! My highest CL was 9K. Whoo Chase!

(Data: Always PIF, overall util 15%, Chase balance was 0.)

Re: Chase CLI

Chase currently likes to see little to no DEBT to give out CLI.

Re: Chase CLI

I couldn't resist temptation and I hit the button on their site within 3 weeks of having a Freedom card. I got a CLI from 10k->15k (I asked for 15k). I knew it was a hard pull when I tried it, but figured if it was too soon they might not pull at all.

If you don't mind a hard pull you should give it a shot.
