Chase / CSP - Travel Delay Insurance

Has anyone ever used the travel delay insurance benefit? I was looking through the CSP benefits guide and it listed that to file a claim, you have to submit a statement from the airline documenting reason of delay of flight. Umm... one is lucky if they say a word, let alone asking them to give it in writing. Any experiences of claims or other relevant knowledge?

I have used it on the Ritz card. I had to call the airline and have them issue a letter. It was no big deal. The airline said they do it all the time.

Oh okay. Good to know it's easy enough in the U.S. I wonder how it works internationally with some of these smaller airlines.
