I would have said EX, because that's who they pulled on me last year with Kohl's (Chase), but they just pulled EQ on me for Borders. Maybe it's different for store cards.

They pulled EQ on me ... don't know if being in Texas has anything to do with it. Shows up as First USA Bank. I don't have other CRA reports to see if they pulled with any other CRA.
They have actually pulled from all 3 before for me.
I checked all three of DH's direct from the CRA reports and First USA Bank was a hard inquiry on EQ at the time of the CC application. Chase has regular Account Review inquiries on TU and EX (we have other accounts with them) so ... maybe that's why they didn't do a hard inquiry on TU and EX?

I don't know what to recommend to you, but even though I have several types of accounts with Chase ... I find their APRs on CCs to be higher than most other cards. It doesn't matter to me because I always PIF ... but if you are going to revolve ... you might check with other CCCs.

Completely agree with the comment about higher APRs.
As far as a particular card, I have Chase Freedom on my long-term wishlist, just to cover a few more categories that aren't bonus categories on my other rewards CCs.
