Chase Disney $200 signup no annual fee - targeted

I received a targeted offer in the US mail for a Chase Disney card, with a $200 Disney Gift card after spening $500 in first 3 months. plus an additional $50 gift card if I add an authorized user and make a purchase.

This is the no annual fee card, so just 1% rewards on all purchases.

Basically the gift cards and rewards can only be spent at Disney properies or stores.

Recently I was looking at the Disney cards online, and I also recently signed into my Chase account. Perhaps they were able to detect my interest via web browser cookies, and thus made the offer?

I already received the targeted 50,000 points for $2000 spend Chase MileagePlus Explorer card offer, so I might just apply for both of these in December. Mainly to move the limits to my Freedom card at a later date.

It seems strange to be receiving any offers considering how many new cards with high limits I recently (1-2 months) obtained. I wonder how reliable these Chase co-branded invitation numbers are...

Interesting.   For me, I think Disney would only make sense if I wanted the special financing for a Disney vacation.   The rewards are a bit lackluster, IMHO, although the bonus is good if you enjoy Disney.   And the card designs are fun.   I wouldn't mind the Darth Vader card.

Its a good card for a disney fan to carry for the perks. As for spending on it routinely, id only do so if you are committed to only redeeming in the parks or at the store. Which is fine if you plan on going anyway, it comes out to the same thing as cash in the end.

I'd just waste the gift card on christmas decor at the disney store, then transfer the credit limit. And I would definitely apply for the MileagePlus Explorer card first, and just apply for this hoping the inquiries are merged by the credit bureaus.

But we agree that the tough choice is between the Darth Vader card, or the C3PO & R2D2 card, right?

The targeted 50k United offer was pretty solid for me. Chase can be a little more lenient on the co-branded cards and sometimes the SL's are surprisingly high. The MilagePlus card was my first Chase app and they made my jaw drop with a 15k approval after verification. Week later approved the IHG that I received a targeted off for also at 15k.

I get the targeted Disney offer a lot. It's a classy offer. Always addressed to "The <last name> Family" as opposed to just one person, cause Disney is for the whole family. Lmao.
