Just called in and asked about my Chase Freedom APR since my promotional 0% APR was up this month. The CSR told me that my APR on my Chase Freedom is 9.24%. 9.24%?! Wow is that normal? I called again to confirm with another CSR and she said it was for sure 9.24%. Anyone else have APR that low on Chase Freedom, or any cards?
Yep, that's the APR for now...

same here with my chase freedom, 9.24%
My Chase Military Star MC is 8.24% and my plain jane Chase V is 8.99%
My former Providian, WAMU, Chase PerfectCard, now Chase Freedom is 29.24%. Don't care. They could raise it to 100% if they like. Never have never will get any interest from me.
I have 4 Chase cards including 2 Freedom Visas with different interest rates
Freedom Signature 18.24% (!!!)
Freedom Visa 7.99%
SWA Visa Siggie 13.24%
PerfectCard MC 12.24%
No rhyme or reason why the rates are all over the map.. I PIF anyway so don't really care. I like the rewards I get on them so they're used a lot.
Question to those who have less than 10% APR:
What is your CR and Score like?
What is your oldest and avg age?
Is it a Signature or World? or just plane Freedom VISA or MC?
I just talked to Chase Rep and he told me the APR what I have is the lowest they can give it to me.
As I alwasy PIF, it doesn't matter right now. But when I needed to carry the balance, it will be better to have low APR.
Freedom VISA (pc'd by Chase to Starbucks Duetto VISA 04/10')
Opened 08/05' after the 0% promo APR ... 6.74%, then raised to 13.24% in 08/09'
Freedom World MC (was reg MC and pc'd to World MC by Chase)
Opened 09/06' after the 0% promo APR ... 8.99%, then raised to 15.24% in 10/09'

Is it a Signature or World? or just plane Freedom VISA or MC? the MC and VISA are both normal CCs...not a signature/world/freedom

Bunny. we've had a Chase CC since at least 2005. They product changed us to the Chase Sapphire (without giving us an option). My DH's scores were at least in the high 700's low 800's at the time, and they're in the 800's now.
Oldest account is 16 years, AAoA is 8 years. Perfect payment history, no baddies, great scores. His APR though is NOT less than 10% and never was.
I'd love to know what genius formula they're using to decide rates.
