Chase Freedom - How large of a CLI?

TARGET CARDS:CSP,SPG/Simply Cash and another card from CIti or a card from Penfed

I opened my Chase Freedom 9/2012 with a $2000 limit.  In 10/2012 I took a HP and increased it to $4000.  In 12/2012 I took another HP and increased it to $10,000, where it currently sits.

Was it an instant approval when you requested the 2nd and 3rd time or did you have to recon. I am thinking about taking a HP in the next 2 months.

The 2nd one I reconned because the account was really new.  The 3rd was instant.  On the 3rd, after I was approved for the $6,000 increase to $10,000, I felt like I probably could have gotten more!

It depends on the 5% categories, but since I've gotten the card, I've put a few thousand on average through it a month.  I never carry a balance, though.....

Wow! That's phenomenal!!! In such a short time too! My Freedom was opened 1/13 with no increases yet.

increase of $2000 to $2500

I sent a secured message first requesting a CLI to $2500, within an hour I received a response saying that it was denied - letter is in the mail. I then called the Customer Service Number in the message and I was asked questions about my report and why I wanted an increase. I explained that a $500 limit is useless for my needs. After a few minutes on hold the rep confirmed the CLI from $500 to $2500. A 5x increase is definitely worth the inquiry, Thanks Chase!
