Chase Freedom Signature

What number did you call to get your freedom "platinum" change to a "signature", I have $6,000 CL and I have had the card since 2009. I sent 2 secure messages being told no both times, so now I assume I need to call. Anyone have any information?

Don't bother calling regular CS.

Don't bother with secure messages either--they will just deny you or give you some response that doesn't make any sense.

The only avenue that works is by emailing the Executive Office.

executive.office@chase.com

State what you want and provide them with your name, phone #, and last 4 digits on the card.

I did a hard pull and was denied the CLI, but the recon people approved me for 10k.  Later, I contacted the Chase Executive Office via email, and they upgraded my card to Signature.  The link to my log explains what I did.

My only caution with this:  The EO has all the history and you only have so much "credit" with them.  If you keep escalating many small matters, they will stop helping (or be much slower to respond).

So the question is, is upgrade to Signature sufficiently important.  Clearly a lot of people think it is, although I would disagree!  I would save my EO contacts for denied  PCs, reward disputes etc, but others will weigh things differently.

This is the way mine went as well.

I sent a secured message and they replied that my request will be escalated to the correct office. Got a phone call and it was upgraded. EO does not need to be contacted. Send another secured message.

Another way is to contact @ChaseSupport via twitter. They will route the request.

I was able to upgrade my freedom card to signature through secure message then I got a message from them that they have forwarded my request to an escalation specialist.IThe next day got a call from them, a woman from chase..She processed my request over the phone and I asked to expedite the new card.

Same experience here.  Sent a message, got a phone call within a day or two, answered a few mundane questions, and got upgraded.  No problems whatsoever. $6000 CL, the card is about a year and a half old, minimal spend.

As someone who has visa sig, and world MasterCard without asking (including chase) are the many people seemingly obsessed with them EVER going to use any of the benefits or even know what they are. As someone who travels frequently and has a decent income I've never used any of the minuscule benefits offered. It seems like it's the new status symbol on this board just like the CSP was to the uninformed. Just my opinion.
