Re: Chase Freedom Unlimited Available Today?

Just converted my Slate that I haven't used in almost a year to the Freedom Unlimited via SM.   Now it will get some use.

Gives me the Freedom, CSP and Freedom Unlimited collection for UR points

Just logged on to Chase, and the Slate logo above the account is gone and the UR below is already up and running!

Re: Chase Freedom Unlimited Available Today?

Got my Slate PC to the FU card but they did take their sweet time replying to my SM Smiley Sad. I also asked if they can rush the shipping so I hope I can use it by the end of the week. Might actually get me to PC my CS to the CSP and use that card but I will have to figure out which airlines and hotels is comparable to the ones I am using now ( AA and Hilton) which aren't partnered with Chase currently.

Check the British Airways site. Transfer partner for UR, and many of their US flights are fulfilled by AA, sometimes Alaska.

Hilton may not be in the cards, but honestly, if you are transferring UR points to Marriott or want to take the points to Hilton, not the best value use for those points. Better to look into a Hilton CC from AX or Citi that earns more of those low-value Hilton points directly.

Edit: You already have the AX HHonors card? Use that to earn HHonors points, don't even shop for a transfer card, nothing will earn HHonors points faster, other than the AF version Surpass card. Which may be a legitimate upgrade to consider.

I already have both Amex and Citi versions. I know it isn't the best value to transfer points to the Marriott but I like the convience of it As far as BA goes I go mostly domestic so BA is pretty much useless for me at least.
