I had a Chase Sapphire Visa Signature card that I closed this month which had a 2.2k limit.
Seems like Secure Message is the way to go...I got this reply on the same day of making the request:
"Thank you for contacting Chase about switching your card
from the Freedom Visa Non-Signature card to a Signature
card.
Please be advised, your request is being forwarded to an
escalation Specialist who will review the upgrade option
and contact you once the review has been completed within
10 to 14 business days."
Finally received my Chase Freedom Visa Signature today, took them two weeks.
Anyways, I noticed they removed they made the Visa Signature logo look like the Chase Sapphire Preferred logo, which looks much better in silver and without the orange on the V.

What is the difference between a visa signature and a regular visa? Just a limit?

How long before I can ask for a CLI on chase.
Well, you could ask right away, but generally speaking, you may want to wait for a while before you request a CLI, otherwise it will be a HP.
Chase has a recon department in the sticky thread, try calling them if you decide to request for a CLI.
I didn't know there was a difference between Visa and Visa Signature.
A few months ago I applied for just the Chase Freedom card. Thought nothing of it. Just saw this thread and I then looked at my chase freedom and it is a Visa Signature. What does that mean, if anything? What is its advantage over just a regular Chase Freedom Visa?

Those are the advantages you have over a regular Visa card.
