Re: Chase Freedom card - reconsideration?

Congrats.  Chase recon is the best!  Even if you took 3 pulls, Chase is worth it in the long run.

Re: Chase Freedom card - reconsideration?

Congrats.. you will likely get a huge auto CLI if you use it frequently - and with your income I should see no reason that you wouldn't... you'll love racking up those points!! Smiley Very Happy

Grats on the approval. You are doing great for someone who just started. Use the card well and you should see some auto CLIs hopefully.

Re: Chase Freedom card - reconsideration?

Now don't forget, this is the start of your credit building journey. After this card is 6 months old you need to ask for a CLI from Chase and then get 1 or 2 more credit cards. You should add 1 or 2 credit cards every year for the next few years until you have a total of 6 to 8 credit cards.

Make sure to stop back here BEFORE you apply for new credit and get someone's advice/help deciding on which card might be best for you at that point.

Someone I know was in the same position as you, denied and then approved upon recon. Within 8 months credit limit increase from $500 - $5000 was approved within minutes. With your income, I can easily see higher.
