Applied for my freedom card last week and I got this message back from Chase services when I inquired. Does this mean I'm not eligible for the upped promotion? The way this person worded it could mean it does or it doesn't.
Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the 20,000
bonus points offer.
As per the terms of the offer, you will receive 10,000
points (equivalent to $100) on the 1st $500 that you spend
within 103 days of the open date. Please contact us once
you have met the spend requirement and we will be happy to
add the additional 10,000 points on the account.
Please note that the original offer on your account of
earning 10,000 points after you spend $500 in the first
103 days from account opening will post to your account
automatically after 103 days of your account open date.
I think this means you will get it. Just waiting till you spend the $500, then you get the original 10K and, once you inform them, they will add the extra 10K
@enharu Thank you for posting this. I just SM Chase and they added another 10,000 points to my account right away. It's like free money.
I just sent them a secured message, lets see what happens
got same message from them .. First 10,000 will be automatic.
Then thru email or phone call they will add additional 10,000 for total $200.00
Good Catch or this would of slipped by...
