I got the extra 10k UR points automatically credited onto my account
Thanks for the heads up! I just sent them a message as well.
So glad I didn't miss this post as I was just approved for my Freedom last week and got the card yesterday. Secure Message sent. Now time to take a month off of my Discover card so I can hit this quickly.
I am pleased to advise that I did add 10,000 points to
your account so that it receives a total of 20,000 points
for an enrollment bonus. You will see this adjustment on
the next statement. This adjustment is available for
redemption now.
Please note that the original offer on your account of
earning 10,000 points after you spend $500.00 in the first
103 days will post on your next statement as you have met
the spending threshold.
Another success story. Thank you guys. If I didn't pay attention to the forum, I'd miss out on this great offer.
I saw this thread and immediately sent a SM to Chase 30 mins be fore lunch, when I came back an hour later I had a response from Chase saying they will credit 10,000 UR points. I checked it and the points were already able to use. They will appear on my next statement. AWESOME!!! Thanks for the heads up!
Since noone responded yesterday Ill ask again . IM on the fence and since I have never had a chase card , how can you use the 20,000 points. I know when I got them on amex , they were worth practically nothing and you couldnt get cash or use it on the balance. IS this actually 200 dollaes cash , can I actually request a 200 dollar check to my checking account?
Thanks

You can request a $200 check! They'll mail you the check if you don't bank with Chase, and you can do whatever you want with it!
well I guess this is a no brainer then , thanks for the response
Maybe I misunderstood, but I used the reward dollars from AMEX on my statement balance.
The options for AMEX aren't that appealing, because I'm not a fan of gift cards. But, to say they are worthless?

Presumably depends on the card. The reward dollars on BCP/BCE are easy to use for statement credit (apart from having to use them in multiples of $25, which is a pain)
