YMMV = Your mileage may vary, meaning just because it happened to this person, doesn't mean it will happen to you. It almost goes without saying these days but just to make sure everyone understands.
Congratulations on the Freedom, it's a great card to have right now with the 5% bonus for gas!

i want to refinance my auto loan to thats why im tryin to up my scores. in the last week i pretty much doubled my combined credit line. so after the AAoA recovers i should be good shooting for 700 range so i can get 4% refi rate apposed to my 16% right now.

thats usually what i use my cards for anyways. my gas budget is something like 500 a month cause i drive everyday for work as an IT Technician so most of this is reimbursable anyways plus i buy alot of stuff for work that i get reimbursed for so i hope my rewards will be plentiful

Congrats on the recon, from what you had posted I didn't have any doubt in your getting it. All my scores are in my siggie, as for my sit I had a couple judgments they asked me about. I was honest letting them know that not even 10 years ago I wasn't very credit savvy and that I used the head in the sand theory when it came to collection agencies. Told him times had changed, I'm better with my payments and looking to expand my credit portfolio, thanks to this forum for that answer.

Do you think the approval requirements for Freedom have fallen to the point where they might take people who are on the Chase blacklist?

How are the Chase Freedom approvals going? Still seeing a lot of people getting approved in the mid 600 range. I have it on my list for November but I haven't seen anyone get in on a recon if they have old judgments or BK. Any thoughts?
