Good evening, Y'all!
I was wondering what score range Chase considers when approving the IHG cc? Also, what cc bureaus do they pull? I'm in Orange County, CA.
I do not plan on applying until a few of my inquiries fall off in the next 2-4 weeks. I have 4-5 on each. One baddie on TU and EX and utilizing around 16-17 percent on credit cards. Last app was 10/2015, I believe....I have a Chase freedom, which I barely use...I just attach a bill on there and pay off each month.
Thank you and have a great evening!

IHG (like Chase's other visa signature cards) start at a $5000 minimum starting limit.
They aren't terribly hard to get, especially once you have an in with them (which you do, through freedom).
They usually double pull me, EX and EQ
It's a WMC, and SLs can be under $5k.
recently get approved ihg score a bit over 700
ex pull, SL 2k
It's also helpful to remember that Chase internal scores are one primary factor they will look at in making a decision. None of us knows exactly all the elements of Chase internal scoring; I can only say that in my own experience, using the card quite a lot and paying in full must be a strong factor in Chase internal scoring.
I only had a 4 month relationship with Chase (Hyatt) when I applied for my IHG, but had a strong history during those 4 months of using the card very frequently for substantial amounts (while still keeping utilization very reasonable) and paying in full monthly.
I then received a $20,000 starting credit limit on my IHG, while having only a 4 month relationship with Chase at the time. Hope it all works out for you!
