Chase PIF & update to credit report

If I have a balance showing from my last reporting cycle and I PIF my chase card does chase automatically update the zero balance or do they wait until the next statement cut to do so? If they report before statment cut how long before they update the report?

Chase sends a mid cycle report update as soon as the account is 0 balance

I understand they're pretty good about updating mid-cycle.
