Hello everyone-new to this board. After rising and falling as recently as 2010 with my credit., I decided to try my hand again with credit cards. Within the last 2.5 weeks I've obtained: Pay-Pal Smart Connect, Sears, Wal-Mart, A Visa card from my credit union, AND most recently...a BP/Chase gas card just today. I was originally declined 1.5 weeks ago, but after reading everyone's recon stories decided to try one of the back-door nos. I saw on the board-and was succesful. The acct rep. asked me several questions about some of my past baddies, then diecided to give me a chance with a $500 credit limit. So now I'm in with Chase, CitI (actually my mortgage is with them also), and GECRB twice. I'm gonna hold em' for now with the apps. But later, maybe around Christmas---AMEX..
