sallie mae is an good option if you can't get an amex card for grocery spending if your spending isn't that high that is

I always average only $700.00 a month on groceries an miscellaneous stuff. Is the salie mae has year round groceries? what is the spending bonus?

I think I can managed without another card for now any how. I need to get me a good travel card this summer. I was hoping for the SW but didn't get approved. Got the 7-10 day/ too many request for credit.

its only 250 per month so you are proabably going to go an bit over, its 5% gas groceries, and amazon. 250 cap per month for gas and groceries and 750 cap for amazon. There is a 25 statement credit i think if you signup for the card.

Sounds like what you need to do is simply garden until then. Don't app if you don't need it or if it doesn't suit your spending needs. Hopefully that will earn you an Amex down the road.   Hanging around these forums makes it so hard to NOT app. But I am in the garden now for the long haul (for a new car and mortgage).
