I have a question regarding the travel credit for the Ritz card. Has anyone ever had a charge credited and then taken back months later?
I purchased two flight tickets through Southwest and bought the Early Bird Check In. Once it posted, I called for the travel credit and they immediately deducted it from my $300 allowance. This was in February of this year.
I just called to have some in flight meals and checked baggage fees for another flight credited back and was informed that I should have never been credited for the Early Bird in February, so they have to rebill me that and then deduct the three new charges. It seems weird to me since when I called in February, the representative said it counted and now suddenly it doesn't. Has anyone else had this happen before?
