Checked my Experian report today and saw a soft pull from Chase Card Services yesterday. Any ideas what could be coming my way?

Don't you jinx me into getting balance chased!
They hopefully got to see the Amex 3x CLI, but they didn't get to see the Capital One cards go from $1500 and $750 to $6,000 and $5,000. If only they had waited 2 more days...

It turned out to be for pre-approvals for the Slate and one of the United cards (probably the Explorer). Just found out from a branch. Kinda disappointed because I was hoping to apply for the Sapphire Preferred for the 40,000 point bonus.
I see the United Explorer card has a $95 AF. Does it have similar underwriting requirements to the Sapphire Preferred? They both have decent sign-up bonuses going on. In fact, the promotional offer in the branch said you get the 40,000 UR points on the Sapphire Preferred after only $2,000 in spending, unlike the Chase website which says after $3,000.

United Explorer has slightly lower underwriting requirements. I would say the United Club Card has similar underwriting requirements to the CSP card.
