So I got bored this morning and decided to app for a couple of cards since I had no inquiries in the past 2 years.

Got an instant online approval for the Chase Sapphire Preferred and called in an application with Amex for the Starwood Preferred Guest credit card. Both approved with no questions and done in less than 10 minutes total. I guess I am set on the cards I wanted.

I have everyone on these forums to thank for helping me with the research I needed to see which cards would be best for me. I just hope I can contribute as much as I have been helped while on these forums. Again... Thank you everyone.

Congrats on your approvals! I have been looking at the Starwood (to replace PRG), but will be waiting until after October for some INQ's to age off my EX report. There is a rumor floating around (on other online travel forums) that a higher sign up bonus may be coming for the Starwood Card too.
