I decided to join USAA but I see this in the sign up page. I do not qualify :smileysad:

 

 

Who is eligible?

  • Active, retired and honorably separated officers and enlisted personnel of the U.S. military.
  • Officer candidates in commissioning programs (Academy, ROTC, OCS/OTS).
  • Adult children whose eligible parents have or had a USAA auto or property insurance product.1
  • Widows and widowers of USAA members who have or had a USAA auto or property insurance policy.

I can't remember how to sign up, I did it ages ago. However I can tell you you don't have to be eligible for usaa's cc, credit
Monitoring, only thing you have to qualify for is their insurance products. Btw I do not qualify as well but I have their cm.

Starting Score: 610
Current Score: EX 740, EQ 730, TU 730 All FICO's
Goal Score: All 780+

Thanks again Meltdown. Signed up for membership and the CMS.

 

Chase pulled Experian on me. No other CRAs. Supposedly they pull Equifax for Texans, so this was not following the trend.

 

FAKOs reported in 770s for all 3. I assume that my true FICOs would have gone down too because of the new card bringing AAoA down. I will have to cancel a card I will not be using much anymore.
