Re: Chase Sapphire Preferred

I also get a lot of compliments on the card and it's my favorite and not just because it's heavier.

If you have an occasion to call their concierge service, ithe service is prompt, acknowledgeable and professional.  Also, I have NEVER gotten a menu at any time I called the number on the back of the card, just a very upbeat, competent CSR. Enjoy!

There is a noticable difference in weight between the CSP and normal cards.

Wow, so the CSP probably feels like a toy card when directly compared with the Palladium...

It's a pretty dramatic difference in weight. The Palladium scratches pretty easily though, even moreso than the CSP.

feels like plastic lol, what about this is metal xD I have to say, i was kinda disappointed. I thought I could have something that makes a metal sound when I drop it on the table or something haha

It's looks and feel exactly like my discover it card, except the raised name and numbers

Drop the two there's definitely a difference.

No, there's actual metal in the card.  A coating doesn't make something nonexistent.

+1. Completely agree with you here in that the difference in weight is very, very noticable. The JPM Ritz (new EMV version) is the same weight as the palladium (just a different colour), and you can instantly feel and hear the difference as soon as you pick it up. It draws too many comments though for my liking.

I'm not sure about how easily it scratches compared to the palladium though, since everything here is chip-based.
