I read this somewhere else and it seems to make sense. The 'none' is a field, usually what would go there there is the card name, think 'Freedom' Visa or "Sapphire Preferred" Visa Sig. But it placed 'none' Visa Infinite because there is no card officially available yet that is called the Sapphire Reserve in the computer system. They do have a Visa Infinite card currently available, the Ritz card, so that's whey have the 'Visa Infinite' filed filled out.
So what I am hearing you say is that after 8/21 instead of "none" it will say Sapphire Reserve Visa Infinite? If so your point makes total sense.
