I see that Chase is eliminating the 7% yearly bonus on the CSP starting 12/31/2015 because they are, "Eliminating the old to make way for the new." The thing is...the new is not as good as the old. How do the CSP holders feel about this? Thanks as always for your input.
Another Thread about this... 7% isn't that big of a deal breaker and the Primary insurance more then covers it .... If you don't have a car then it wouldn't but there is now other perks with the card
The difference of the 7% opinion comes down to spend.
Someone pumping 20k+ a year into the card will feel the pinch greater than someone like me at 7k per year.
This is one of the reasons why i like to diversify what kind of mileage programs I am in. The 7% isn't going to really effect me all that much, but you never know what changes these programs will make. I am going to to try and have MR card, UR card, AA, Delta. and United cards to make sure i am fully diversified.
I'm stil getting 10/10 on my Freedom card. I wonder when they are gonna discontinue my bonus? Anyway the 7% isn't that great. The new program will be WAYYY better.

I assume yes ... anyways the Transfering points from the Freedom or even CS makes the card worthwhile. You could be earning up to 15 to 1 on points if you combine it with your Freedom ( buy through the UR Mall)

Yes. I've been waiting for it to GO away and it hasn't yet....I'm shocked I'm still getting it and they announced the change around this time last year I believe.

I had a child bank Account with Citi when i was a baby and then Chase ever since then. Never had an issue with them yet. I know a few of the bankers at the one I have near me and always says hi and offers great help
Though I do understand why people hate Brick and mortar banks as well. I don't love them but my relationship with this chase is fine
