Chase Transferring Credit Limits

Hey everyone. 

I have a Chase Freedom with a $2000 limit, and a CSP with a $5000 limit. 

I don't hardly use Freedom, but always use CSP. Would they let me transfer my credit line from Freedom to CSP, or is that pointless to try?

Chase let me transfer $3,500 from Disney Premier to my Freedom. I believe they're good about letting you. I just sent them a secure message telling them which card from, and which card too and how much.

The stipulation is you must leave $500 on the card you are transfering from. After you don't use the card for 3 statements, you can transfer the remaining $500 to another card and close the account.

+1 - Chase is excellent for this - I spoke with online CSR who did it in less than 5 minutes for me, but yes, you must leave at least $500 on your "donor card"

They will let you unless the limit is already too high...
They wouldnt let me transfer $5k from CSP to make my Marriot a total of $30k lol.
It is already $25k lol

Call or SM.  Chase does not have an online chat feature.

If you are familiar with navitaging within Chase.com, then click on the top right corner on the Secure Message Center link > Send new message...
