Chase United CLI

I have 4 chase co branded cards (United - $500, SW - $11,000, AARP - $3500, IHG - $2000).  The reason the SW is so much higher is because I moved some of the balance from the United over anticipating closing the United at 1 year.  One year won't come up until March 2017.  Now I really like the United and want to keep it.  Can I request a credit increase to get a higher limit?  If so, when and how should I do it?  Thanks!

Re: Chase United CLI

Don't think they will increase unless you risk a HP

you can request the cl to go back to United and close southwest.

i did it the other way I closed United and moved over the credit line to Southwest because I use them 3 to 4 times a year .

good luck

Re: Chase United CLI

You can always request a CLI but they will use a HP. $500 is a very low limit so it might be worth the HP.

BTW I have the United card and I love it!

Re: Chase United CLI

Thanks.  Does Chase have a CLI button or do I need to call the recon number?

I think you can call the number on your card or even send a SM.

Re: Chase United CLI

No button... that would be nice... and tempting!
