Hi everyone,

Just got instant approval for Chase Mileage Plus. I don't really have words to describe my sheer joy and happiness right now. One year ago this would not have even close to a possibility. But thanks to MyFico and the incredibly knowledgable people on this forum -- I have entered PRIME TIME CITY.

In November I app'ed for Barlcays and was approved instantly and literally started shaking. It was such a monumental moment in life. I'm 32 years old and this is the first time in my life that I've had good credit. And now, today, to get a bonofide big boy card -- it's just huge and I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. The people on this site have played such a big role in improving my life. My next step is a mortage. Thank you all so so much.

Can I call a backdoor number and find out my credit limit?

Congrats! That's awesome! It's been 5 months, so I don't think you'll have a problem with Barclays. It's a great feeling being approved for prime cards, isn't it?! Enjoy your new card.

Congrats!

This is a great card.  Wait until you see all the perks in the welcome package.  It'll blow you away.  Call the chase automated line.  They'll give you the starting CL and APR rate.

Nah, don't fret Barclays.  With this card, if Barclay gives you any grief, tell them to take a hike.

Oh I'm not worried about Barlcays. The won't CLD me, and even if they do I could care less. My balance with them is zero and I'm done ever using that card again. I'll also never use my debit card again. The Mileage Plus is my new every day card so I can rack up flyer miles. Absolutely incredible feeling! WIsh I could find out my CL.

The "backdoor" automated line for approval status on the forums stickie.  Go to the front page, and click on "backdoor" numbers.  You'll see it there under Chase.
