Chase United Mileage Plus approved on the phone then back to review?

Hi,
A few days ago I applied for chase united mileage plus online. Got to the screen telling me to call customer lending specialist. She asked me several questions and approved me with $12,000 CL.

Today I called chase credit cards service because I wanted to have the card mailed to a different address. The rep told me my application is pending review. I checked the application status and it also said under review and I should be notified by written letter in 7-10 days.

Anyone has had similar experience?
Does this sound like they change their mind and I will get a denial letter?

Not really. Did they give you any idea how long it might be pending? Did they tell you it was pending before it after you wanted to change the address?

I called the credit card customer service, the first woman said she needed to have her colleague look at my application.

After 4-5 minutes on hold, she came back and said my application is pending review and currently "locked", so she could not change the address the card was to be mailed to.

She told me I should get a letter by mail in 7-10 days and that makes me worried. On my previous applications with chase, after I got approved on the phone, I could check the application status on the phone right away, and it would have been approved and not pending review.

The exact automatic message says "This application is being review. You will be notified in writing of our decision in approximately two weeks"

Should I hang in there and wait or call the recon line now?

Usually if the app status line says 2 weeks it's an approval awaiting manual intervention. If 7-10 days then it's usually a denial.

YMMV, etc.
