Re: Chase United???

A lot of people underestimate the value of the $395.00 annual fee United Club card. It's not just the perk of being a United Club member. The 'little things' can really add up:

Two free bags for up to two people on the same Club card-purchased itinerary (for my family for four with four bags traveling domestic, that's $240 RT in bag savings)
Avis First one car class upgrade (nice perk especially on long rentals for a large SUV)
Hyatt Gold Passport Platinum membership
No close-in booking fees ($75.00 savings)
Earn 1.5 miles/$ on everything you buy (you can really make a killing by combining this when shopping on United's reward shopping mall)

TU 743 as of 5/12
EQ 715 as of 10/13
EX Plus 780 as of 7/12

Cards in wallet: Chase Sapphire Preferred ($25k) Chase Freedom (8k) NFCU Platinum ($24k) HHonors Reserve ($11k)
United MileagePlus Club ($17k)
