Chase amazon or freedom?

The Amazon has been a pain for my bro to get. He was instantly approved for Freedom, Slate, and Zappos months apart. He applied 2-3 times for Amazon(1 app was a year before gaining Freedom. Another app 6 months after Freedom) and they always have the verification issue. Go figure. Still not approved with 3 other Chase cards under is belt.

No baddies on file. 723 Ex 740 TU. About 12% UTIL. It's strictly a verification issue as he's gotten the letter with reference number. He sent in driver's license but they want UTIL bill too. No utilities in his name. They asked him questions about people he didn't know(distant relatives) so failed there and Chase was unable to send code to phone.

Same with me on the Chase Amazon. Still at $500 after two years being open. Was actually thinking of closing it and moving the $500 line over to my Freedom card.

i was approved for chase amazon two months ago. in december. my starting limit was 500. short history and a lot of inquiries. my history is not even one year. just few days ago i took a hp for CLI and got my limit increased to 3000. just after the 2nd statement. i have PIFd each time. i have been denied for freedom two times . one in nov and one in march. perhaps because of their 5/24 policy. at the time my amazon chase was approved my scores were around TU 700, EX 691 ,EQ 655. Clean and short history. i have opened a bunch of new accounts between november and december.
