Hi everyone,
The DW has a Chase Freedom and her 4th statement just cut. Is there a normal or average amount of time for an auto CLI ? Just wondering when she could expect it. Thanks.
Hey, I just got an 1,000 auto increase on 30 or 31 of last month(March) to 5,500 from 4,500. I was approved for the Chase freedom on 12/3/2014, so we're looking at almost 4 months. I ran a high balance of 1500/1600 on 4,500 limit. Balance was 1,047 when auto cli took place, i also was approved for a Chase slate@1500.00 at the same time i notice the cli. My experian fico was either 658 or 662 on auto cli and chase slate approval. I also have a personal and business account with them.

Thats a bummer. Are all the requested CLIs a HP ?

Good to know. Thank you. She uses it regularly and many PIF during the month. Congrats on your CLI .

My DW got a Freedom auto-CLI at around the 5th month, then she got CSP and got auto-cli at around 3rd month. Almost 5 months with my Freedom and nothing.
If you request a CLI they will HP.
sounds like they run up alot of PIF.. that must be the chase trigger.

CHASE is REALLY STINGY with CLI, they want the user to initiate one so they can HP you!
It's hard to know reliably, but from observations, if you start with a small limit, you might get some auto CLIs fairly quickly. With bigger starting limits, you may never get them. I've had my Amazon since 2004, never had an increase, and not on my CSP or Freedom which are about 2 years and 18 months old either
They doubled my Freedom limit after my 3rd statement, which was odd because it was basically maxxed out since i financed a mattress
