Chase cards have arrived!!!

Over the course of the last two weeks, I left the garden for two Chase cards -- a Freedom for the 5% rotating categories for my personal spending, and an Ink for my business spending, which also offers 5% back on categories that are applicable to my business's spending patterns, along with 1% on any out of category spending.

The Freedom arrived last week, and the Ink arrived today. I had to recon the Ink -- the specific reason for the denial was "too many recent inqs or accounts with Chase." The recon went splendidly, and I was approved with a $7500 CL. I was amused to see that both the automated denial letter and the card with welcome/info packet arrived the same day, (you're denied -- no, your approved! LOL! ).

I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the Ink is a World MC -- my very first! I already have two Visa Signatures, so this adds a little bit of variety to my wallet. Of course, this is just for business spending, but it's still wonderful to see that my credit qualified me for the World version.

What a nice start to the week! :smileyhappy:

Re: Chase cards have arrived!!!

They asked about the size of the business, length of time in business, what it is that we do (type of business), annual income, salaries paid, my role within the company, etc. It was actually a very pleasant conversation, as the CSR was polite and friendly throughout. I just answered honestly whatever questions he posed. He also reviewed my personal credit, and it felt great to be told that everything looked solid. :smileyhappy:

I found from my business banker the other day that the business credit cards pulled personal credit reports.  He has had to have many unpleasant conversations aparently with business owners either applying for loans/lines of credit/ ccs about their credit history

Capital One Quicksilver- $5,000 (Thanks Cap1 Executive Office <3) | Chase Freedom - $7,100 | Chase Amazon -$1,000 | Priceline Visa -$10,000 | US Bank Cash+ - $18,200 (I know what an odd limit) | Fidelity Amex -$10,000 | Sallie Mae- $10,000 | Walmart $15,000 | DCU Platinum $12,000 | Discover IT - $7,500 | Amex EveryDay - $10,000  | Citi DoubleCash - $15,000

I was fully expecting this, as the application made it clear that I would be acting as guarantor. But the specific rewards offered were such a good fit for my business that I was willing to take the inq. Looking forward to being able to earn cash back on not only my personal, but also my business spending. :smileyhappy:

I had hoped my Freedom would be in today's mail but it wasn't. Glad you got your Ink today and congrats on the World MC status.
