Thats not entirely true. They are there coz we need them. 

But they do need us more than we need them. Push comes to shove we can always go back to debit r even start back using cash but without us they would go out of business.

Hi, 

 

You are right and so am I, That's why I said the statement is not *entirely* true. Though I don't need credit but I am revolving a 0% apr card for past 4 months. I need them for that but I don't need them for the day today purchases. 

 

 I am an average consumer, so there must be many many ppl like me who needs credit to manage every months finances and save money. If ppl didnt need credit then why are so many ppl in the board trying to get advice to get out of the debt. 

 

Either ppl are pushed into using the credit or they made foolish purchases.
