Not to beat a dead horse, but have you tried calling them (as opposed to SMing them)?
Clearly there was a miscommunication, and since your account has been closed it does seem time sensitive. As much as I hate phones too, this certainly seems like a case where you should pick up the phone and call them. Sometimes being on the phone, and being polite but stern can resolve things surprisingly quick.
